š¾ Sadie Mae's Porch Report š¾
The porch turned into a family reunion... and I wasn't even related. (At least... I don't think I am.)
My friend Tammie stopped by and brought her sister, Inez, to meet me. Naturally, I welcomed them with my professional greeting package: tail wags, porch supervision, and quality-control belly rub inspections. They both passed with flying colors. āāāāā
While I was busy making sure nobody skipped the important business of petting the porch dog, the humans started swapping stories about Mississippi, family roots, and relatives that seemed to stretch across half the South. I tried to keep up, but somewhere between second cousins, great-aunts, and "you remember so-and-so," I got completely lost. Humans sure have complicated family trees.
Before heading home, Tammie and Inez picked out a few keepsakes from the shop, including leather crosses handcrafted by Dad. I think that's one of my favorite parts of porch life. Folks come in as visitors, spend a little time swapping stories, and leave carrying something that'll remind them of their day in Warne.
Of course, we couldn't let the visit end without a front porch photo. That's practically porch law.
Thanks for stopping by, Tammie and Inez. The porch is always happier when it's full of laughter, stories... and people who understand the importance of giving a good belly rub.
See y'all again soon!

Sadie Mae
