A little Lyon of the Valley lore for you:
Seven months ago, I got the opportunity of a lifetime to pick through the rubble of a demolished shed filled with vintage treasures. More than 350 pieces were rescued from the landfill that day—including the remains of two fairy lamps.
One Fenton Fairy Lamp survived intact and has already found a new home.
The other wasn’t so lucky. Abandoned by her partner, she was eventually forced into an arranged marriage with another who simply wasn’t the right fit. 😂 She lived happily on my mantle for months while I held out hope that someday, somehow, I’d find her soulmate.
Fast forward to today…
Another vendor recently purchased a liquidation. Sitting there among everything else was one lonely piece highly recognizable piece of glass. No match anywhere to be found.
Until I walked in today knowing where the match could be found. @ 🥹
Seven months. Two completely unrelated estates. And somehow, they found their way back together.
She’s complete again, glowing beautifully, and ready for the next chapter of her story.
Come see her at The Antique Mall of Warner Robins — Booth #478. I hope the person who takes her home loves her as much as she deserves. 🫶🏻🦁
