Two treasures on the counter today—and a story I couldn’t make up. 💜

This Ernest Borel “Cocktail” watch puts on a little show of its own! Overlapping patterned discs create a moving optical illusion, making the center look like a tiny, ever-changing kaleidoscope. A little wrist-sized magic. ✨

But the woman who brought it in might be even more fascinating. My first customer of the day was a 92-year-old woman from NYC who shook hands with Babe Ruth when she was a kid.

Naturally, I shook her hand. So I basically touched Babe Ruth. ⚾🤝😂

She grew up a Yankees fan, but married into a Red Sox family when she moved to Rhode Island. After getting tired of being outnumbered six to one, she switched teams. That’s some serious family peer pressure. 😂❤️⚾

Come for the treasures, stay for the stories. You never know what—or who—will come through the door at Warren Exchange.

Our little shop has a new online home! 💜🐒

Come take a look at the NEW www.warrenexchange.com!

Meet our crew, discover what we buy, peek at some unexpected finds, and learn what happens when you bring us that box you’ve been meaning to go through.

Tangled jewelry? Old coins? Grandma’s silver? A mystery item nobody can identify? You don’t need to sort, clean, or figure it all out first. That’s our favorite part of the treasure hunt!

A big thank-you to Rob and Janika at Black Door Creative for bringing Warren Exchange’s personality to life online.

Take a look around and tell us what you think! 👇

Our little shop has a pretty big reason to celebrate—20,000 followers on Whatnot! 💜

I’ve been selling online since 2001, and seeing this community grow around our family-run shop in Warren, Rhode Island, means so much to me.

To our customers, familiar names who keep coming back, and everyone who follows or joins the chat: thank you for making our treasure hunts part of your day.

And to our hardworking crew—thank you for the sorting, showing, packing, and laughs that go into every adventure.

We’ve now reached 14,000 sales and 3,100 five-star reviews on Whatnot. I’m proud of those numbers—and especially grateful for the people behind them.

Come follow on Whatnot and join us for another treasure hunt. You never know what we’ll turn up next!

A little pause in the treasure hunt! 💜

The storefront is temporarily closed while I undergo and recover from shoulder surgery. I’m hoping to reopen Wednesday, October 21, 2026—but at 50, I’m not quite sure how quickly I’ll bounce back! I’ll be taking recovery one day at a time.

Thank you for your patience and well wishes. Please check here on Instagram for reopening updates before heading over!

Can’t wait to get back to your treasure boxes!

🎃 Flea Market Shot: Blow molds galore!

Today’s pickups came with plenty of pumpkins, ghosts, and Halloween personality! 👻 Apparently, “Honey, stop the car!” was more of an instruction than a sign. 😂

If I can sneak these past my kids, they’ll be for sale at the RI Antiques Mall. First, they have to survive the family inspection! 💜

Which one would you try to keep? 🎃

⛳️🥃 COUNTER SHOT: Ready for the 19th hole!

This sterling silver flask came across our counter with a story engraved right on it: “N.Y.A.C. — Jany. 1st 1927 — Second High Handicap.” A golf trophy from 99 years ago!

My dad golfs, and he told me that after 18 holes, the 19th hole is the bar. Apparently, someone thought the prize should help you get there. 😂

The front has its own punch line: “THE LAST SHOT,” with a hunter enjoying a sip from his flask, sh***un tucked under his arm. A different kind of shot!

Nearly a century later, the humor still holds up. These are the treasures that make me love what comes across the Warren Exchange counter. 💜

🔥 COUNTER SHOT: Got a light?

Bullet-shaped lighters, a red pistol-shaped lighter, and some mechanical contraptions that look like they need an instruction manual… today’s counter has a little spark of everything! 😂

It’s the unexpected finds that keep things interesting at Warren Exchange. Even something as everyday as a lighter can have plenty of personality.

Which one catches your eye? 👀

💜 Got a drawer or basement box full of odd little treasures? Bring me the box!

COUNTER SHOT 🚒🔥 — SOMETIMES THEY HAVE TO GO HOME

I bought a collection recently, and tucked inside was this Lieutenant’s hat badge from Warren’s own Mechanics Engine Company No. 2.

I thought it was cool, so I put it on Fireman Kevin’s Whatnot set as a background decoration.

Well… Kevin noticed it. 😂

He immediately snapped a picture and sent it to the Company 2 group chat. That’s when we learned just how special this little piece of Warren history is — it’s only the second known example.

I bought the collection to resell, but some things just aren’t meant for the sales case.

This one is going home. ❤️🚒

I’m donating it to Mechanics Engine Company No. 2 — and in a perfect small-town twist, Company 2 happens to be the fire company that covers my own address.

That’s one of my favorite things about Warren Exchange. You never know what’s going to come across the counter — and every once in a while, instead of selling something, we get the chance to put a little piece of Warren history back where it belongs.

Small shop. Small town. BIG history.
