Warrrrrrrrrensburg!!! Let's Get Reeeeeaaaaaaaddddddyyyyyyyyyy toooooo........have a bookstore for adults!

Round 2

In addition to the call for those who want to trade in their used books for credit, we are now calling for local authors to join us here at Magnolia Manuscripts.

We have a special section set aside to feature all the local talent here in the Warrensburg area and can't wait to highlight their work.
Not only can Magnolia Manuscripts be a great platform to sell locally penned books, we will have multiple spaces for authors to host book signings and similar events right here in downtown Warrensburg. All above a coffee shop!

We will now accept local authors wanting to sell their work at Magnolia Manuscripts on a 20% commission basis with payouts on a monthly basis. Authors need to determine their own sale price and we will not be purchasing the books ourselves for resale.

For those of you interested please message us with information about your book or books, how many of each book you would like to put on our shelves so we can begin the process of getting your creation in front of a whole new audience.

Next round?..... sign ups for books clubs....coffee book clubs, wine book clubs, bourbon book clubs, literary debates and more- all right on the courthouse square.

Warrrrrrrrrensburg!!! Let's Get Reeeeeaaaaaaaddddddyyyyyyyyyy toooooo........have a bookstore for adults!

Round 1

We are so close here at Magnolia Manuscripts and are ready to start filling our custom made bookshelves inside our historic building in beautiful, historic downtown Warrensburg.

And first up, we have a call for everyone looking to bring in their books to us for credit towards future bookstore purchases.
This initial round will be next Monday and Tuesday, July 27 and 28, from 10am until 4 pm. Our location is on the second floor of 313 N Holden above Magnolia Market. (PLEASE NOTE- Unfortunately, our elevator installation has been delayed until winter. Our apologies.)

Some notes on our process- We do not give cash for used books, accept student text books, audio books, CDs, DVDs, albums or video games. We reserve the right to decline credit for any book.
A full explanation of our credit policy will be available to you before you drop off any book.

In this first round, please give us a couple of days upon receipt of your books to create your credit list/amounts to be applied towards those future book purchases once we are fully open for business. Once calculated, we have an automated system that will keep track of have much credit you have that you can apply to bookstore purchases.

We will not be open for business these days to sell books but only to accept books for future credit. But you will be able to get a sneak peek at the entire book store. Opening day is August 1st. (The Good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise.)

We are building new foundations from old stones here at Magnolia Market. Our new storefront is going up with stones quarried just north of town in the 1800s as the base.

Thank you Denver Long and 3D Construction for helping bring our vision to life.

We did some major moving this weekend as we continue our move from Culton uptown to our new location at 313 and 315 North Holden. We can not wait to show you all our next gen Magnolia Market and more. But we will have to …. Coming mid July…ish.

Thank you so MUCH to everyone who came out, sweated and toiled, to help us make it all happen. We can’t imagine we would be without your gracious time.

There’s definitely a cold adult beverage waiting for you when the bar opens again.

It’s not everyday you see an entire bar headed up Holden.
