Thinking about pressing your own DTF transfers? You really don’t need a ton of equipment to get started!

You’ll need your garment, a ready-to-press DTF transfer, a heat press, and something to protect the design during the finishing press. That’s about it! 🙌

The important part is following the pressing instructions provided with your transfers—especially the recommended temperature, time, pressure, and peel method. Those details can vary, so don’t assume every DTF transfer presses exactly the same way.

Once you get the hang of it, pressing your own transfers is a great option for small businesses, crafters, teams, events, family shirts, and anyone who wants to create their own apparel without owning a DTF printer.

Okay, I’m curious… which one are you choosing? 👀

🎁 Something personalized — made specifically for you, with your name, favorite saying, special date, team, photo, or something that means something to you.

I love personalized gifts because there’s something special about opening something and immediately knowing, “They had this made just for me.” But I also completely understand the excitement of being handed a gift card and getting to go shopping. 😂

Have you ever looked at a color on your phone or computer and thought, “That’s not exactly what I expected!” when you saw it printed? There’s actually a reason for that!

Your screen creates color using light, while your finished shirt or transfer uses ink. On top of that, your screen brightness, device settings, room lighting, garment color, and even the material being printed can all affect how a color looks in person.

That’s why I always tell customers that the colors you see on a mockup are a representation of the finished product, and slight color variations are completely normal.

I do my best to get your colors as close as possible, but if you need a very specific shade or brand color, please let me know before I print. 💜

It’s another one of those little behind-the-scenes details of custom printing that most people never think about!
