Wow! We are incredibly grateful for the support shown at this year’s Mountain Man Rendezvous. In just two days, we’ve welcomed more guests than we did during all three days of last year’s event!

Unfortunately, due to the forecasted weather conditions and out of consideration for the safety and comfort of our vendors, campers, and blanket traders, the decision has been made not to open the Rendezvous on Sunday.

Thank you to everyone who came out, shared the event, and helped make this weekend such a success. We hope you enjoy a wonderful Father’s Day with your families, and we look forward to seeing you again at Kumberland Gap for Sorghum Days on October 10th & 11th!

Until then, safe travels and thank you for supporting local history and living traditions.
