Following the huge turnout for Monday's Chester Village Board meeting, we know that the fight CONTINUES against the illegal, immoral and inhumane proposal to turn an empty warehouse into an ICE detention center. (Links to media coverage at bottom of this post.)

The Chester Town Board (which is a separate entity from the Village Board) will meet at 7 tonight (Wednesday, Jan. 14) at Chester Town Hall, 1786 Kings Hwy, Chester, NY 10918. If you can be there in person, it's best to arrive early. You may also attend the meeting virtually:
