My name is Cara, founder and designer of BLQRUBY, and this is my fiancé, Jeremy. Together, we run this fashion business.
Jeremy and I met around 11 years ago at my parents' restaurant. We bonded almost immediately over rap and hip-hop music. 🎶 We were homies.
Lucky for me, we reconnected 3 years ago. He told me he wanted to invest in my clothing brand. Unbeknownst to me, he had more than one agenda. We found ourselves engaged just 6 months later, with a baby on the way. If you zoom in, you can see the black diamond he proposed with (a black diamond for BLQRUBY). Come September 22nd, we'll FINALLY be getting married! 💍🥂
Jeremy is everything BTS, and I couldn't more grateful to have such a strong support system in my life partner. He was the one encouraging me to start sewing🪡 ; he bought me my first machine, and the rest is history.
We are constantly inspired by fashion, music, art 🎨 and poetry. We strive to connect with everyone we meet in a positive way, keeping that same energy that sparked our flame 🔥 all those years ago.
