Diplomacy and Fashion are back in Washington with the Trump administration, but this time, it's not First Lady Melania making headlines—it's Ukrainian President Zelensky.

Long story short:

A right-wing journalist from Real America's Voice—who also happens to be Marjorie Taylor Greene’s boyfriend—provocatively asked President Zelensky: "Why don’t you wear a suit? Do you even own one?"

Zelensky’s response was brilliant: "I’ll wear a suit when this war is over. Maybe something like yours. Maybe better, maybe cheaper."

There was even some laughter, creating a briefly friendly atmosphere. However, Zelensky later revisited the topic of his attire, this time emphasizing twice that it was not a serious issue, making it clear that he preferred to focus on "more serious things."

Now, here’s my personal reminder: fashion choices in diplomacy do matter. Even Zelensky has strategically considered his wardrobe. When the war began, he deliberately changed his dress code, opting for tailored outfits by Ukrainian designers to showcase patriotism and promote them on the global stage. He had a confident response to the journalist’s question and carefully selected what to wear when meeting President Trump.

Speaking of Trump—when he compliments your look, he genuinely means it. I have no doubt he liked Zelensky’s black top. Trump once complimented my bubblegum candy dress, and I knew I could easily provoke him by wearing pants or an orange dress. He also complimented my former prime minister’s spouse, Monika Babišová, at the White House, and I’m sure he appreciated when Kim Kardashian wore a black suit in 2018.

Above all, when meeting a president—whether Trump or any high-ranking official—always carefully consider what to wear. Do your research. Use Pinterest mood boards, browse Google Images for inspiration from diplomats you admire, or message me directly. I promise to respond.

It’s good to be back on social media after a long but much-needed break-- I MISS YOU-ALL!

The using socks as a fashion statement is the most demanding trick especially for diplomats.

You can be almost sure it will backfire in the media.

Canadian prime minister, Justin Trudeau, tries to wear colorful or thematic socks and it backfires everywhere with "distateful" comment articles.

In Asia, the Thai prime minister, Srettha Thavisin famously wear colorful socks during important official meetings and draw criticism from both media and his own people.

Late Czech Foreign Minister, Duke of Schwarzenberg, when started wearing red socks, media commentary was that he was sleeping in them and forgot to take them off in the morning.

I decided to try. And invited many diplomats and ambassadors to bring their most special eccentric and elaborated socks for the others to take a judgement on them.

Please go head!

Feel free to comment.

My Top Ten if the theme of Met Gala is Diplomacy & Fashion

"Today's diplomats should fit the model of a good communicator, negotiator, peace maker who applies common sense; who sent abroad for the good of his country, who speaks and writes in the languages of the host country, and most importantly who is not defined by emotion or prejudice but who is profoundly modest in all dealings" and The Dress!!!

I choose these dresses because, in my opinion, diplomats, ambassadors and First Ladies are safe to wear to different occasions : from the garden party to official lunch, cocktail event or state dinner.

Which dress matches the best to diplomatic rules of fashion in your opinion?

1. ANNA Wintour in
2.Alia Bhatt in
3.Michelle Yeoh in
4. Jessica Seinfeld in
5. Cailee Spaeny in
6. Linda Evangelista in

Although, always committed to explore the language of fashion in diolomacy when she lives in different countries while she also tries to create something new.

Same Old Trump:

again attacked physical appearance of his opponent by commenting Nikki Haley's dress

"The fancy dress that probably wasnt .."

as the result, the dress was sold out immediately; Haley was credited in the media with the right fashion choices, the fashion designer and the brand Teri Jon went viral.

These are the moments when Trump  helps  to serve others but himself.

Why South Korean First Lady Kim Keon Hee aka fashionista accepted Dior bag worth $2,200? She knew she is not allowed to do so. The scandal exploded the leadership of South Korea by asking First Lady and her husband to apologize and explain.

No apology followed so far. The presidential palace issued that the bag stored as a gift.

It is so easy to criticize. And so easy to solve.

1. Apologize

2. Donate bag to charity

3. Stay low for awhile now

Because of so much traveling and living in different cultures, I have an opportunity to build anew every time I move. Now, living in Asia, I follow astrology more than ever. To live with astrological calendar is a function here. Becomes an inevitable part of life.

The year 2024 is a year of green wooden dragon which happens only once in 60 years. It symbolizes power, strength, energy and prosperity. The symbol is the most powerful in Chinese calendar. The lucky color is green. To activate the dragon one needs to wear lucky color.

A few ideas what to wear in 2024.
