That number has lived in my head since I first read it. As a coach. As a mom of three girls. As someone who watched it happen in real time on the field, in the gym, in the classroom.

We don’t have a talent gap. We have a confidence erosion problem. And it starts earlier than most people realize.

So here are 5 things you can do about it…whether you’re a parent, a coach, a teacher, or someone who just wants to pour into the next generation.
