In a world of fast fashion and empty prints,
I make pieces that mean something.
Pieces you don’t just wear, but carry.

Because long before fashion was a trend, clothing was a language.
In Java, batik patterns carried philosophy. The parang motif spoke of strength and perseverance, the kawung of purity and balance.
In the Andes, Quechua weavers told the stories of their communities in every thread.
In Ghana, the Akan printed Adinkra symbols on cloth, each one a proverb or a teaching.

What you wore told who you were, where you came from, and what you believed in.

That is what my custom designs are about.

THE BEETLE.

Small, patient and unstoppable.

In many indigenous traditions, the Beetle carries one of the most powerful medicines,
transformation from within.

In Ancient Egypt, the scarab beetle was sacred.
A symbol of the rising sun, rebirth, and the cycle of life.
It rolled its ball of dung across the earth
and from that, new life was born.

The beetle doesn’t rush.
It moves through darkness without fear.
It breaks down what is dead
so something new can grow.
Its medicine: trust the process.

Even when what you’re carrying feels heavy, you are creating something.

KEEPERS OF THE OLDEST STORIES IN EUROPE.

Long before England had a name,
these people were already there.

The Welsh.

One of the oldest indigenous cultures in Europe
rooted in the land of mountains, forests, and mist.

Their spiritual world lived in everything.
The ancient Welsh believed in Awen, a divine creative force that flows through all living things.
Poets, healers, and seers were its vessels. It was not something you possessed.
It was something that moved through you.

Their spiritual tradition, rooted in the Druids, saw the world as deeply sacred.
Trees held wisdom. Rivers had memory. The land itself was alive and spoke to those who listened.
They celebrated the cycles of the earth like solstices, equinoxes, the turning of seasons.

The Welsh called their homeland Cymru.
Not Wales, that was a name given by outsiders.
Cymru means: the land of fellow countrymen.
A people defined not by borders, but by belonging.
Their language, Cymraeg, is one of Europe’s oldest living languages.
Still spoken. Still sung. Still remembered.

Awen. A divine force that flows through poets, healers, and seers.

SUMAK KAWSAY.

A Quechua word from the Andes.
It means: good living.

Not more money. Not more status.

But living in harmony with the earth, your community, yourself.
Not surviving but thriving in right relationship.

The Andean people never separated themselves from the land.
You are part of it. And when it suffers you suffer.

This wisdom was never lost.Just forgotten.

The prophecy does not promise peace.

It promises a choice. Most people who know the Eagle and Condor prophecy know the basic story.
Two paths split. Two ways of being human.
The Eagle representing the North flying the path of the mind. Technology. Industry. The external world.
The Condor representing the South flying the path of the heart. Intuition. Relationship with the earth. The inner world.

Separated for five hundred years and prophesied to fly together again.

But here is what most people do not talk about.
The prophecy does not say the reunion will be easy.
It says the Eagle was so dominant for so long that it nearly drove the Condor to extinction.
The mind nearly killed the heart. Rational thinking nearly erased intuitive knowing.
And the prophecy says that when they finally meet again, the Eagle will need the Condor more than the Condor needs the Eagle.

The most technologically advanced, economically powerful civilization in human history is the one running on empty. Searching desperately for meaning, for healing, for connection.

The prophecy also says this reunion is not automatic. It requires people who are willing to carry both. The sharpness of the Eagle and the depth of the Condor.
The doing and the being.
The thinking and the feeling.
Not choosing one over the other,
but learning to fly with both wings.

Medicine is not always something you can hold.

We have been taught to think of Medicine as something physical.
A Plant ally. A remedy in a bottle. Something you take. Something you consume. Something that works on you from the outside in. But in virtually every indigenous tradition on earth Medicine was understood as something far wider than that.

Medicine was a teaching that changed how you saw the world.
Medicine was a story carried by an elder that landed in you at exactly the right moment.
Medicine was a perspective that broke something open.
A value that reorganized your priorities.

The Lakota spoke of medicine as anything that carried power to heal, to protect, to transform.
Not just herbs. Not just ceremony.
A song could be medicine.
A name could be medicine.
A vision could be medicine.
A person could carry medicine.
And so could a symbol.

This is what I believe about the work I do with custom design.
A design is not just an image. It is a container.
For the medicine you carry.
For the teaching that shaped you.
For the values you carry.
For the wisdom you want to move through the world with.
Worn. Visible. Alive.

I work with Medicine carriers like facilitators, coaches, healers and builders. People who have something real to say and a community that needs to hear it. And together we translate that medicine into a design that carries it forward. Not as decoration but as identity.
As a reminder of what you stand for and where you come from.
