- USCIS makes a decision on 50% of family I-485s eleven months after they are filed;
- 80% are processed after 16.5 months;
- 93% after 2 years and 1 month.

--> USCIS re-balanced I-130 workload evens out performance
California, Potomac, Texas, Vermont have very similar family I-130 performance with only Nebraska standing out. California (CSC) is not longer the dominant processor of 'preference' I-130s, and workload is now fairly evenly distributed across all 5 service centers.

Both the 'low' (50%) and 'high' (93%) of USCIS processing times for employment authorization increased in calendar year 2021 moving from 3.5 / 8 months in January to 9 / 12 months in December.

Hopefully, we are starting to see the beginning of an improvement with a 7.5 / 12 months range in April 2022.

Only 4 of the top 20 U.S. Consulates (Dhaka, Islamabad, Ho Chi Minh City, Manila) are back to pre-pandemic levels ('100%') with two more getting there (Mumbai, and Guatemala City).

We compared the last 3 months of available data (November 2021 to January 2022) with pre-pandemic levels (last fiscal year before COVID-19, which was from October 2018 to September 2019). SUPREME COURT MAINTAINS DACA FOR NOW
The Supreme Court ruled today (Thursday) that the administration may not immediately proceed with its plan to end DACA.
