The one loudly announcing you’ll never have children. 😁

And she is going to be AMAZING.

Funny. Smart. Beautiful. Strong-willed. A little hardheaded… wonder where she got that from? 🤪

And here’s the shocking part — being her mom will actually be the easiest thing you ever do.

Not because life will always be easy. There will still be long days, worry, heartbreak, messes, and moments you wish you could protect her from everything.

But loving her?
That part will come naturally.

She’s going to change the way you see yourself, the world, and what really matters.

One day you’ll realize that all the things you stressed about at 21 doesn’t compare to the joy of knowing (and raising) the most awesome human being alive!!

A letter to my 21 year old self — depression stops here!

Just because you are told that depression runs in your family doesn’t mean it gets to run your life.

One day you’re going to learn that healing isn’t found in waiting for life to magically get easier - or for a doctor to prescribe a wonder drug that suddenly fixes everything.

Healing is found in the little things:
Sunshine. Music. Movement. Creativity. Good people. Good food. Laughing until your stomach hurts. Learning to love yourself. Leaning into God……and time at the river with a few cold beers don’t hurt either 😎😎😀. Sunshine DOES in fact, wash your blues away 🎶 ☀️

You are going to kick depression to the curb, you are going to be happy and you are going to be a shining light for others. There will be a few bumps along the way but don’t worry and don’t give up 😘

Oh and girl, don’t stop making things!
Your art, your shirts, your signs, your recipes, your awesome ideas… they are healing you too! Keep that s**t up!!

A letter to my 21 year old self —

Girl you are NOT fat.
Stop wasting so much time obsessing over your weight and comparing yourself to other women. One day you’ll look back at pictures and realize you were beautiful all along.

And speaking of pictures… take the picture.
Stop hiding behind everyone else because you think you need to lose 10 pounds first.

Keep your love of exercise, but use it to become stronger — not smaller.

And don’t worry so much about trends. Fads will come and go… but hang in there, cause thick thighs come back in style. 😎

We are thankful for another great weekend! This one we celebrated 11 years married 💕……we ate some absolutely delicious food Friday at Leonardo’s followed by a quick trip to the Mandeville lakefront and then a fun ride with family and friends on Saturday. Awesome way to celebrate 🎉
