I grew up loving the art of sewing. My Mother and Grandmother were self-taught seamstresses and I found my soul was always at peace watching them create and turn a yard of fabric into something that was handmade and beautiful. My donor, Tom, was a 25-year-old young man who lost his life in a tragic accident. I honor Tom daily and am forever changed by t
