October is Breast Cancer Awareness month 💗

This gives me all the feels! My mom is a two time breast cancer survivor 💪🏼
Just a few years ago, I found out that I have a genetic predisposition that puts me at risk for not only breast cancer, but also a handful of others and have since then began annual screenings and preventative care.
It really is never too early to be aware!

This set of ears is dedicated to someone dear to me, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She got straight to business, fighting like a girl and I just know she is going to kick cancer’s butt!

I tend to put things on hold during the summer and get out and enjoy everything Alaska has to offer! Still making sure to support some of my fave local businesses too ☺️

Ready to make something beautiful out of this mess. What a perfect analogy for our situation right now. I have no control over what is happening outside of my home. What I can control is this right here. I can choose to make the best of our new norm for now and enjoy the extra time with my kids and husband. Choose to take the time to get to some cleaning and organizing that I have been too busy to get around to. Choose to embrace the slow down and give myself grace when I become overwhelmed by the media. Choose to put a smile on someone’s face with my talent 🤍 Whatever you choose to do during this unprecedented time, I hope you make something beautiful out of it!

It felt SO good to finally pick up my hook again and get this order finished. I can’t deny that all this change has been hard for me to handle and I forced myself to just process it and get my home in order first. I am now not only a mom of 3 but a 5th, 1st, and Kindergarten teacher. What a whirlwind of change! I hope you all are staying healthy and safe out there 🤍 I’m so excited to have another happy customer and can’t wait to create more joy for others!
