A little rain didn't stop people from getting out and enjoying some small-town fun today: Bed races, bands, and great food. Tomorrow is the parade at 11 am and a full schedule of fun activities.

The annual Colony Days summer celebration kicked off in Palmer on Friday. Events continue through Sunday, but the main attraction is Saturday afternoon's parade at 11 a.m. on South Alaska Street.
