MARABILIS is a luxury label, founded by Petra Goehringer in 2020. Our philosophy is to work in the most diligent manner integrating subtle, elegant design and exceptional materials with focus on craft and detail to create a timeless aesthetic that is made with love to wear. The Blouse

Petra launched the first style featuring her signature bias-cut blouse. Designed to evoke softness and fluidity, the bias-cut blouse drapes with ease on the body creating a flattering fit and an alluring silhouette. Petra’s Story

Petra's roots in the fashion industry go back many years. Born and raised in Germany, Petra learned her craft from the core, studying fashion and focusing on fine tailoring to gain the in depth knowledge and skills necessary to make a luxury garment from scratch. While honing her skills at an exclusive Haute Couture Atelier in Hamburg, she often designed and tailored pieces for herself and her friends using the finest materials. With an entrepreneur’s spirit, and an urge to express her creativity, Petra went on to live in Paris and London where she worked as a stylist and in fashion production management. After arriving in New York several years ago, Petra continued creating fashion leading to launching her own label, MARABILIS, in 2020. With a commitment to holistic living, she loves to share her view about it with friends and family. She enjoys taking long walks in nature with her dog, listening to classical music and dancing tango. In a few words

We are a small independent fashion brand where we value quality over quantity. At Marabilis, our mission is to create high quality timeless pieces that defy annual trends using mainly natural materials. We believe sustainability is a collective responsibility and are continuously finding ways to improve our practices. This is why we are reducing packaging materials to a minimum and production takes place locally in New York City in small batches.
