📣 🌿 MELONVINE MARKETPLACE TO HOST WEEKLY FARMERS MARKET 🌿

Beginning May 2, the Melonvine Marketplace will host a weekly, community-centered Farmers Market at its historic schoolhouse location on South Main Street in Water Valley.

The Melonvine Farmers Market will provide a place for local farmers, growers, and makers to sell their goods while giving the community access to fresh, locally sourced products.

Vendors will be set up along the wide, covered concrete porches that flank the front of the building, creating a comfortable and inviting open-air market environment.

The market will be held each Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with vendor setup beginning at 8:00 AM. The Melonvine Marketplace will remain open until 5:00 PM.

All Vendors can join us week to week, and our First Saturday Market themed pop-ups will continue each month.

Melonvine Marketplace is currently welcoming a variety of participants including farmers, cottage food vendors, artists, handmade goods vendors, food trucks, and musicians.

Spaces are first come, first served within marked booth areas.

The 2026 Farmers Market season will run from May 2 through September 26.

🌷 Vintage Easter & Classic Toys 🌷

We have the sweetest little vintage finds in the shop right now in the Cinnamon Tree Booth at the Melonvine Marketplace!

This vintage handwoven Easter basket – Made in Mexico features beautiful natural woven reed with red and green accents and a braided handle. These Mexican woven Easter baskets were commonly handmade and sold from the 1950s through the 1970s and are now popular for spring decorating and vintage holiday displays.

Also available is an Original Playskool Tinkertoy Set from 1986 in the classic red-lid canister. Tinkertoys have been a beloved construction toy since the early 1900s, and the Playskool versions from the 1980s are now collectible nostalgic toys that many people remember growing up with.

🐣🌷 Easter Sunday Hours 🌷🐣

The Cinnamon Tree inside the Melonvine Marketplace will be closed on Easter Sunday so that our vendors, staff, and families can spend the day with loved ones celebrating the holiday.

We will reopen with regular hours the following week, and we look forward to seeing everyone again soon for more treasure hunting, sweet treats, books, toys, tea, and all the wonderful things you can only find at the Marketplace.
