Finally resting after an amazing weekend at DBQfest | Iowa’s Oldest Art Fair & Festival 🤍It was full of gorgeous art of all kinds, insanely cool artists, amazing customer interactions, beautiful weather (minus the early rain), and time spent with other artists who are realllly good at making me laugh! (beer may have also been involved😆) This weekend really recharged my soul and I'm so thankful to everyone who was part of it.🫶🏼

🚨CALLING ALL CLAY CUTIES!🚨

I'm using my skills to help out a wonderful customer and fellow Brittany! 💯% of the money I raise will be donated to the NF Walk Fundraising Initiative!!💙

In 2019, her son was diagnosed with neurofibromatosis at the age of 14 months. NF is a group of genetic disorders that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body and can lead to cancer, blindness, bone abnormalities, deafness, disfigurement, learning disabilities, and excruciating and disabling pain. Shortly after receiving the diagnosis, their family immediately connected with Children's Tumor Foundation (CTF) for support, encouragement and education. They have been an invaluable resource to their family and to families all across the world who have been impacted by NF. Since 2019, our family has been participating in the Iowa Shine NF Walk, CTF's signature fundraising event. This year, Brittany partnered with CTF once again to lead the Iowa NF Walk as the event’s volunteer walk director, and I am excited to share that the walk will be held locally at Gateway Park, in Cedar Falls on Saturday, September 26. Participants travel from all across the state to participate in the annual Walk! The event is made to build community amongst those impacted by NF, spread awareness and help raise crucial, necessary funds for research.

Welp, we experienced our first thunderstorm at an outdoor market yesterday! We started the morning cold and damp and ended with melting... no surprise it was at Sturgis Falls!😆 Even with all the chaos, we still finished the day ahead of last year! Thank you all so much for really showing up!🤍
