My parents thought I was studying in college… until my tax form arrived 🧐

It’s true! While I was a psychology student at Marquette, I secretly took a part-time job at a high-end boutique that changed my life. I loved every minute of it. I was styling, talking fashion, and helping women feel confident.

When that W-2 showed up in my parents’ mailbox, they discovered I wasn’t studying as hard as they thought... I was already working in the career that was calling to me. That little “side job” became the spark that led me to open Nicole’s Boutique years later! 🤩

And now... the building is under contract! Our doors are officially closed and we've had our last day in business. Thank you to everyone who shopped here over the years. It means the world.

It began with a girl who loved art more than anything 🎨👗

That girl was me. I didn’t grow up dreaming of “owning a business,” but there is a quiet magic in how something beautiful can change the way you see yourself. One leap of faith led to the next, and before I knew it, Nicole’s Boutique was born and built on instinct, passion, and a whole lot of trust 🫶

Now comes the part I never imagined writing. Nicole’s Boutique, the business, the building, everything is being sold and fully liquidated. Our final day open will be Saturday, January 31st, and as we close this chapter, the entire store is 60% OFF storewide. This is your last chance to take home a piece of a place that was built with love, intention, and community.

For years, this boutique has been the heart outside my body. I always had a deep love for helping women in my community feel confident and seen 😍 You let me style your lives from vacations to weddings, and first dates. You trusted my eye. You trusted my honesty. This is something I will never take lightly.

If this boutique has ever made you feel more like yourself, I hope you’ll come in one last time. To shop, to hug, to reminisce, or simply to say goodbye. One day I was a buyer, next, I was building my own boutique‼️

Wise words from your friend Nicole - Sometimes life doesn’t give you a sign. It gives you an opportunity!

I was working in a beautiful, privately owned shop when I asked the owner if she’d ever consider selling. She told me no. This was a turning point for me, so I said, “I’ll do it myself.” And that’s how Nicole’s Boutique began. I didn’t have a team, investors, or a roadmap; only a vision and a deep belief that I could do it better.
