Happy race day! The Philadelphia Cycling Classic is back after 10 years. Am I a huge sports fan? Nope. But this race feels like a part of my story. I met one of my lifelong friends at a race party on The Wall in Manayunk ( ) and we ended up as housemates a year later on Main St. where we were able to set up lawn chairs to watch the race. We’re talking about a lifetime ago and the house has been long demolished but our friendship remains. I hope the return of the race will bring something special to a new group of people. So if you’re in Philly, head to Manayunk or Roxborough- the best areas of the city to enjoy this great event!
