🚨 GARAGE SALE – FRIDAY & SATURDAY! 🚨

📢 ️This is a friend's garage sale that has kindly let me set up some of my things as well.

📅 Friday & Saturday - August 7th & 8th
⏰ 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
📍 27 Roadside Ave (In the garage – Rain or Shine!) behind the Waynesboro hospital.

Everything must go! There's something for everyone!

✨ Lots of Pfaltzgraff and plenty of other household items, décor, kitchenware, and more.

✨️Shoes, maternity clothes, Z-Racks, display fixtures, hangers, and glassware

Please note: I will NOT be responding to Facebook comments asking if items are still available. If you're interested, please come to the garage sale and see what's there.

Today my midwife said to me "See you next week, if you make it that long!" 🫣

And with that, we are not accepting any more alterations (unless I've already talked to you). I actually still have some backlog from people not booking pick-ups that I would like to get out of the shop. If you see me in there, no you don't. 😂 I'll get calendly set back up and make an announcement when I know my recovery time. Until then, stay safe, cool, and I'll see you soon!

Hi folks!

Firstly, I wanted to say THANK YOU. Y'all completely blew me away with support on my last post. My posts usually get a few likes here and there. I was not expecting that at all. You are what keeps me going.

Just some baby/timing things to share:

● We have been by appointment only since January 2025. This will not change. I see people using it as an excuse to find another seamstress rather than asking me if I have availability. I unfortunately haven't been able to figure out how to clone myself yet, so appointments it is. 📆

● Yes, I have limited hours due to appointments (welcome to the end folks) and just plain old being tired. BUT I've been adding slots here and there when I have availability so if you don't ask, you don't get them. 💁‍♀️

● Online bookings are now limited to pick-up only as my final slots have filled for drop-offs. Call or fb message me for all other types! 🎉

● I will still accept certain alterations up till my due date. Last time I was sewing bridesmaids hems 4 days before Ellie was born. 🙃

● If you need something altered for July, August, September or even early October, please call or message me on Facebook ASAP. ☎️

● I may not answer the phone right away if I'm already with another customer, I do move a bit slower these days. 😉

● Make sure your voicemail box isn't full and is set up! I can't get you scheduled for an appointment if I can't reach you.

● I don't believe in waiting until a certain time frame to get your items altered. If you have your shoes, undergarments, and are not actively losing or gaining weight, your stuff can be sewn now. Save yourself the stress as most seamstresses book pretty far out in the fall. (I've heard of at least 1 thats booked till November!) 👠

● I will be in the shop wrapping up alterations that have not had an appointment scheduled. If you still have items there PLEASE schedule your pick-up. 🙏

● If you need a suit rental/purchase for the fall, there will be no timeline restrictions. I can and WILL make the trip to make sure your items are perfect unless I am literally in labor (in that case I'll send a friend or family member to meet you). 🕴

● I will update my reopening date once the baby has arrived and will begin filling in my calendar when that happens. 👶

Alright, normally I do try to be nicer in post than this but here it is.

YES, I have my child with me at work.
YES, she is allowed in the windows.
YES, she interacts with customers all day.
YES, some people may think its strange.

I chose to quit corporate for this job and today I'm massively regretting it. You guys...

YES, today I had the POLICE called on me for having my very own flesh and blood with me while I work. Then, I had to pull her out of her nap to show the police officer she was fine. One from the SAME department I've done countless patches for.

Did the woman knock first to inform me? Yeah, during lunch when the door was locked. While I was getting the key she BEAT on the door till I opened it. She asked if I knew there was a baby in the window. I told her yes, she's fine. (Y'all she was next to her TODDLER TOWER, I promise she didn't put it there herself). Apparently, that wasn't good enough and she called the police anyway.

Don't be this person. Let me do my job. If you don't like how I sew or raise my child, go somewhere else. I don't care anymore. I'm pregnant. I'm tired. I'm just trying to earn a living in this crap economy.

Hey all! My midwife looked at me like I was crazy when I told her yesterday I worked on 8 wedding gowns last week, so I guess it's time for some more updates.

Important dates to keep in mind:

•We will be closed July 1st. We still have availability July 2nd and 3rd.
•Tentative closing date July 16th. After that, all appointments will need to be made manually and yes, I will be cherry picking what I take on so don't take on too much.
•Items need to be dropped off by the 10th.
•Booking is now limited to 1 week at a time
•If I get overwhelmed, I may close sooner-its time to slow down and enjoy my last little bit with my girl before she gets a sibling.
