The situation is once again getting out of hand.

We are living in constant fear.

Our city is on edge, still fighting to hold on. Rumors of gangs invading Gonaïves have spread quickly, leaving many families anxious and uncertain about what tomorrow may bring.

Sometimes we ask ourselves: How do you keep building, creating, and doing business under these conditions?

Will life ever feel normal again?

Will our children know a different Haiti?

We don’t always have answers. Some days, hope feels far away.

And yet, we keep showing up.

We keep praying.

We keep believing that darkness will not have the final word.

Because at the end of the day, this is our home.

The place we love, the place where we raise our families, and the place we keep believing is worth fighting for.

Today, we pray for peace. For protection. For wisdom for those leading our communities. And for the strength to keep going, one day at a time. 🇭🇹

On March 29, a massacre took place in Petite-Rivière de l’Artibonite—less than 30 minutes from Gonaïves.

Armed groups attacked the area, leaving people dead, families in shock, and an entire community shaken. Even babies were among those killed.

This is not far away. This is right here, close to home.

It’s deeply frustrating… because it keeps happening, and people are still not protected.

We’re praying for every family affected.
For comfort in the middle of grief, and for justice.

Haiti deserves better.
And we’re still holding on to hope.

As the Easter season is coming, it reminds me… there is still possibility.

Possibility for Haiti to change.
Possibility for peace to rise again.
Possibility that even in the hardest moments, God is still working.

This season is about resurrection. About things we thought were dead coming back to life.

Some days, we feel stuck.

Not creatively. Not spiritually.
But physically… emotionally… mentally.

Living in Haiti is no joke.

There are days when something as simple as going from Gonaïves to Port-au-Prince feels impossible. Roads are uncertain. Plans change. Delays become normal. And sometimes it feels like no matter how hard you work, things around you aren’t moving forward.

You try to stay consistent.
You try to keep building.
You try to believe things will get better.

But some days… it’s heavy.

Still, we keep showing up.

We keep creating.
We keep working with what we have.
We keep choosing hope—even when it’s not easy.
