Faith, Food, Family & Friend's
My husband has been battling end stage kidney failure, and is not doing well.
He is now on the kidney transplant list, but was just temporarily taken off while fighting another battle with his health. I believe it is due to the organ failure, but I'm honestly not sure yet.
God willing, it will be resolved soon, then he can go back on the list and he won't lose his place in line for the transplant.
A living donor would give him the best chance of it taking and a life for him, if it works well.
Studies show the donors lifespan is also increased due to the high care they receive to ensure their body is healthy enough for the transplant and then for the after care received as well.
If anyone feels moved to be an organ donor, please reach out to me here.
I wasn't planning on asking about an organ donation just yet, but I thought maybe if I get the word out ahead of time and all goes well, that one may be available to him sooner.
We will be married 5 years this July and couldn't have imagined the turn our lives would so quickly take.
I'd like to ask for prayers for my sweet man. He is only in his fifties. So very young.
For those who don't know him, his name is Ken and he is a pastor.
However, the disease has made it impossible for him to get around to pastor.
I am sure it hurts his heart, but I pray he will one day be able to return to it.
I'd like to add, he remains in good spirits and has not lost his sense of humor. Thank God, because I can be a lot to handle and so can our 2 dogs!
I thank you for taking the time to read this.
Please pass this on however you can.
May God bless, comfort, and strengthen all of you.
