I quilted this quilt by Dorothy in military gold Glide/Glide 60 thread using my new Peeling Good E2E. I really love how she makes her back creatively with the scraps from the front.

I dubbed this Dorothy’s candy quilt. Using mocha Glide/Glide 60 thread, I tried out a new E2E design called Angelfish. I loaded the quilt sideways so the pattern would go up and down rather than sideways.

The second of three, this one by Megan. She wanted a quilting design that was a floral, but more abstract so as to not detract from the piecing. We went with Rebekah’s Rose from Urban Elementz. I quilted it in white Glide thread.

Three lovely ladies make a mystery quilt together each year at a local library. They are told how much fabric to bring and find out the pattern when they get there. This is the first one, by Melody, and will be a baby quilt for a recent addition to a family she would soon visit. She chose the quilting design “jagged little filler“ and I used Glide/Glide 60 Cool Gray 3 thread.

At my quilt guild each month, there is a block-of-the-month thing where a quilt block is chosen and all participants have a month to make as many of the blocks as they want to participate. One pays $1 per block, and your name goes in the pot for each entry. The prize is all the blocks. I’ve done it a few times, but often I’m busy enough that it doesn’t happen. Well, I was talking to the person who is in charge of it and she was kind-of bemoaning how so few people participate. I went home and made 3 blocks for the next month, only to find out closer to the date that I wouldn’t be able to attend.

A friend took my submissions to the meeting. I told her I didn’t really care about winning, in fact, I didn’t really want to win; too much on my plate at the time. That night she texted me to tell me I won. 10 blocks. I figured I should make 2 more to make the top, but then after laying things out, changed my mind and used one block in the center of the back as the center square of a larger block. The block name is Oh Susanna. The quilting design is Windy Wonderful Weather, quilted in Glide Cool Gray 3 thread. I’ll bring it to the guild meeting on Friday and donate it to charity.

Back in October, I posted a picture of a tree skirt I quilted for Cathy. With the leftover fabric she made this quilt. I quilted it with a similar design that came with my iQ (intelliQuilter), only with larger ornaments. White Glide/Glide 60 thread.

This beautiful quilt was put together by Lora for a friend’s wedding. She wanted it stitched in the ditch and minimally quilted. I used light yellow So Fine and Ice Lemon Glide thread on the top and yellow MicroQuilter on the back.

Here it is. The quilt for which I designed the music E2E pattern. This quilt I began planning 3 years ago. The top was made a year later using nerdygirlquiltco’s pattern Treble Tango with a few tweaks to make it my own. Then came the search for the perfect quilting design. When I couldn’t find one, I decided to make my own. I love how it turned out! I quilted it with MicroQuilter aqua on the top and teal on the back. I couldn’t be happier!

The music quilting pantograph that I designed and digitized was done for a specific quilt (which I will post soon). But before I did it on that quilt, I wanted to test it out on another quilt, but I didn’t have one that went with the music theme. Jeanette, from my guild, brought me a charity quilt to do and said to test it on that one, which I did. Birds sing, so maybe it fits. 🤔 I’m glad I did because I decided to change some things (the size and tweaking a couple things in the pattern) before doing the real one. Quilted it with Mocha Glide thread, my music E2E pattern and my iQ (intelliQuilter).
