I recently reclaimed a fave apron that my mother has been “borrowing” for 15 years. A random apron with artichokes on it. Now I am not a great cook, but I love a good apron and I have many. Some of which have nostalgia and fond memories woven into their wear of special meals and occasions. I have clear memories of my mother wearing my grandmother Faire Potter’s retro style printed half apron when she was baking cookies or pulling holiday birds from the oven. As I was digging for fabric scraps for the girls sewing lessons recently I came across fabric I’ve collected for years. Some familiar from my estoile days, some collected from travels and some vintage. I decided to make some aprons!? Why not!? So here you are.... a few that are finished and several on the way. All hand made. I pre machine washed and dried the fabric to avoid shrinkage. $20-$40. Priced individually. Please let me know if you might be interested. ❤️ 🧵
