New items going into Clara's Cabin this week! First up...the primitive 2 candle lantern chandelier. I have 3 of these, but only have 1 in the booth right now. Let me know if you need more than one. Next is the Longaberger blue ribbon star samplers. I have 10 of these still in original packaging.
Next the F.W. Woolworth serving dish. I can remember going to the Woolworth store in Richmond Indiana as a kid. Did you ever eat in their little dinner?
Next is a Gugelhupf terracotta bunt mold. These are especially popular in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and France. These look awesome hanging on the kitchen wall. It's a great way to display them and they're convenient to reach.
Last but not least are 2 Longaberger baskets with liners. Some people look at baskets and say "it's just a basket. " I'm not one of those people. To me, if a basket is hand made...it's a work of art. Baskets go sooo far back in history. They were some of the first vessels ever made, from whatever natural materials our ancestors could find. The Longaberger brand is very nostalgic for me. I have many memories of going on the bus tours with my mom to the Longaberger Homestead and factory complex. Did you ever go?

In Clara's Cabin this week! I have 6 of the Indiana Glass Commemorative plates. 1776-1976. These plates are 50 years old and still in the original box! 😲 The covered wagon bird house is adorable, any bird would love to live there! I thought about turning it into a lamp. 🤔 The Jim Daly Print, "Odd Man Out", is so sweet. It would be cute in a little boys room. New items going into Clara's Cabin this week! This wooden bench would look great on your porch, or in an entry area for book bag drop off or removing shoes. Benches of this style were used in the past to protect the sitter from drafts in taverns or homes.
Who doesn't love a " Dogs playing poker" Print. These were originally done as cigar advertising. This one is 10x13 1/2. It's a perfect size for a gallery wall.
This floral serving dish is so pretty and has the "cabbage " design that is so popular. It's from the 1950's. I hope you can come in to The Old Print Shop Antiques hours are Thursday-Saturday 10-5 and see all the wonderful things there. This Friday will be extended hours to join in the festivities at The Frostbite Diner. Get some ice-cream, listen to the live band and do some vintage shopping!
