BFF HEADBANDS Hundreds of styles of non-slip headbands. Prices range from $6-12 each with all profits donated to Crohn's Colitis Foundation of America to find a cure.

BFF headbands (Bands For Friends) was started in April 2013 as a way to help fundraise for Crohn's Colitis Foundation of America. My best friend struggled with Crohn's for several years before she passed away in 2008, leaving behind a husband a 2 young children. I decided to join Team Challenge and run the Chicago Half Marathon in June 2013 to honor Cortney's memory and help find a cure. In order

to participate, I needed to raise $2,100. I had just started to try to make headbands for myself and daughters prior to signing up for this (I hadn't used a sewing machine since 7th grade home economics class). I came up with the idea to make and sell the headbands to support this charity. With donations and headband sales, I raised over $8,000 and became the top fundraiser on the Wisconsin team and 9th of all participants for the Chicago run. My fundraising and involvment with Team Challenge and CCFA has not stopped there. I have signed up to run in Las Vegas Rock and Roll half marathon In November 2014. My goal is to raise at least $9,000. All profits from headband sales are donated to CCFA. Check out my fundraising page for more information

Bff Headbands work great for swimming. I tried it this morning. 20 laps completed this morning without any hair in the face and no headband readjustment needed :)

One of the elite gymnasts at my son's gymnastics club is undergoing chemo for testicular cancer that has spread to his lung. Evan is 15 years old and continues to train to compete in Nationals while fighting cancer.
