Cabin update… I love sharing our little cabin with you all as we build this 840 square foot home debt free. Every piece of furniture or item has been pre loved, repurposed or found at a discount. We finally have AC and so we camped out last night, showered in the storm and enjoyed the beautiful Florida summer weather. Water is not usable yet as Florida wells unfortunately require an expensive outdoor filtration system to be drinkable, and sulfur and iron free. So hopefully soon we can get that put in and a few more things of the check list to get our occupancy permit ❤️

Jake’s gonna work on more trim this next week as it’s quite the process making new wood look old😊. Each piece of trim he creates to make unique one of a kind trim work….

Just a few things I’ve been working on… next week is my only show of the summer as after that I’m off to get my last child married and planning a wedding in a 50 day period 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️. Then two days after I’m on my way to the blueberry fest in Indiana ❤️. And October starts my weekly and monthly markets again with oh so many new items and goodies for you!! Along with fall and Christmas gorgeous vintage style pictures ❤️. Hope to see you next week in Tampa at the fair grounds❤️

These specific blueberry keychains can only be purchased at the official gift shop. Super limited quantities so def get there the first day ❤️. I will not have them at my booth. I will have other blueberry items ❤️

Cabin updates! We are so close!! Still have to do all the trim but we finally have AC! So far all my furniture I have gotten off market place and loving it ❤️. We did fail inspections do to not having tamper proof outlets which I hate by the way and no shower curtain etc. nothing major so we worked on the checklist and hopefully in the next month we can get occupancy permits 😊. Two years of self building and paying cash as we go has definitely been challenging. We have learned a lot and would most likely never do it again🤣 but excited for the final product and the peaceful place we will call home❤️

UPDATE. it’s safely moved with just a little mishap. I swear that thing is 2-300lbs and I’ve gotten quite a bit weaker 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️. Now to transform this room!❤️

It’s a new era… this thing I hope to have to never move again. Moving my craft location to get our house ready for an Airbnb.. New chapters are exciting! 😊

We just got back into town and made a pit stop at our cabin❤️. Yall. 2.5yrs of hard work, a self build, pay as we go project and…. We have water!!!! Finally. Now onto final inspections so we can get AC hooked up and work on all the trim that needs to be finished 😊.

Hopefully this week I’ll get to working on the brick, paint the island and get all the tools picked up❤️
