Brides, don’t waste your money having the Bridal shop press and steam your gown prior to it being altered. When dresses come to me they are subject to all manner of handling in the alteration process and they will get wrinkled. Post altering, and no more a few days before your wedding at most, is the time for pressing and steaming.

Monday, May 11 I’ll be back at my machine and rearing to begin bridal season 2026!
This is my 5th summer as a full time seamstress and I can’t wait to get started on all those beautiful gowns I have scheduled.
This truly is my passion and being at my machine is my happy place, swearing occasionally notwithstanding. 😬
