June was… a lot. 😅

From family adventures and new brand partnerships to big milestones, travel, projects, and plenty of everyday moments in between, this month somehow packed in more than most seasons.

And honestly… I still left things out.

Looks like June might need a Part 2. 😂

What was the highlight of your month?

Marriage is understanding that your wife is actually always happy, calm, and loving…

As long as she’s had enough sleep… but not so much sleep that she wakes up groggy.

She’s eaten… but not so much that heartburn kicks in.

She’s had enough water… but not so much that she’s making bathroom trips every 20 minutes.

She’s had caffeine… but not enough to power a small city until 2 a.m.

The house is reasonably clean… but nobody asks where something is she just put away.

The kids have given her hugs… but haven’t touched her for the last 37 consecutive minutes.

Nobody has said “Mom” 842 times before lunch.

The group chat hasn’t started any unnecessary drama.

Amazon hasn’t delivered another package that she forgot she ordered.

Nobody has asked, “What’s for dinner?” before noon.

The thermostat hasn’t been touched.

And I haven’t started a sentence with, “Quick question…”

Marriage is really just learning to recognize when all 47 of these conditions happen to line up… and enjoying those glorious 11 minutes. 😂🍸

Summer vacation is officially underway. ✈️☀️🌴

From airport snacks and delayed boarding calls to toes in the sand and all-inclusive resort life, the boys are fully in vacation mode.

This trip has been on the calendar for months, and seeing their faces when we finally arrived made every bit of planning worth it.

Big thank you to Capella Miami for keeping all of us vacation-ready with matching swimwear for the boys and me. The quality is incredible, and the matching sets made packing a whole lot easier.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a feeling the kids are about to ask for their 37th snack of the day. 😂

Parenting lesson no. 4,672:

Me: “Can I get a hug and kiss?”
Toddler: “Nope.”

30 seconds later…

Me: “Want a cookie?”
Toddler: 😁❤️🥳

The youngest keeps us humble. Every. Single. Day. 😂

Meanwhile, my wife already decided 49 no’s ago. 🍦😂

We made it.

Another school year in the books. 🎉

But can we talk about that last week?

The week where every day was a different theme, every dismissal time was different, every form was due immediately, and somehow nobody could tell you what they actually did all day.

You ask your kid what happened at school...

“I don’t know.”

You check the agenda hoping for answers...

“Kids had a nice day.”

Honestly, it felt like the entire school system collectively decided, “Let’s just get everybody to summer.” 😂

To the teachers, staff, parents, and kids—we made it. Have an amazing summer.

Some days it feels like you can’t take a step without someone hanging on your leg, asking a question, needing a snack, or wanting one more hug.

But one day, the house will be quiet.

So enjoy the season when your hands are full… because one day they’ll be empty. ❤️

Some of the best advice I’ve ever heard:

If the person criticizing you doesn’t have anything you want…

their opinion probably isn’t worth carrying.
