✨ On July 23rd — Julia “Lady J” Gerard’s birthday — we gathered in West Hollywood by candlelight to honor her life and legacy. That night became the spark for something bigger.
We are proud to announce the launch of the J Gerard Peace Foundation — a 501(c)(3) nonprofit created to carry forward Julia’s fearless creativity, radical love, and message of peace.
Julia wasn’t just a designer. From her Melrose Avenue studio, she dressed icons like Cher, Tina Turner, Prince, Sir Paul McCartney, Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, and Rihanna — but her true gift was reminding the world that peace is something we create together.

We are launching the J GERARD PEACE FOUNDATION in celebration of the life, friendship, and passion for peace the Julia ‘Lady J’ Gerard brought to all of us that she touched. The foundation will use her love of music and fashion to create programming, events, and grants. Together we will continue her legacy for peace supporting humanitarian, environmental, and animal initiatives.
