With a strong desire to serve their community and help others in need, a group of West Lawn UMC members, along with other friends in our Mom’s group, coordinate this county-wide children’s consignment sale. Www.myconsignmentmanager.com/faithfulfriendssale

The Fall 2022 sale will take place in the West Lawn UMC Community Center on Friday, October 7th from 9am-8pm and Saturday, October 8th from 8am-12pm. Many items will be half-price on Saturday!

The Raffauf Community Center where we hold our sale is the third building in a row of 3 that make up the physical space of West Lawn UMC. The main church building sits on the corner at Penn Ave, the next building is the education building where a variety of programs happen throughout the week, and the Raffauf Community Center where there are MANY opportunities to come together. If you are looking for a church home, we invite you to join us for worship at any of these times:

Traditional Worship - Sundays, 8:00 AM & 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary
Contemporary Worship - Sundays, 9:30 AM in the Sanctuary
Adoración Española - Domingos, 4 PM en el Santuario

Redeemables FAQs
What are Redeemables? Redeemable items are items that have minor damage but still have life left in them. They are perfect for play clothes, camping trips, summer camp, Halloween costumes and more. All Redeemables are $1.00 or less and will be half-price on Saturday.
Must be seasonally appropriate
Must be marked $1.00 or $.50
Items need to be in over-all good shape with minor imperfection (i.e. small stains, mended tears in places that are not obvious, distressed or patched knees, missing buttons, broken zippers). No holes or tears. No significant staining.
Nothing in baggies except for shoes
All items must be included in the ½ price sale and must be marked for donation
You can pre-tag any item for this area. During inspection you can decide if you want to include any declined items but you will need to review our tagging instructions on how to do that.
Redeemable items should not be on hangers.

🥰We GET IT! We're moms (and consignors) too!

🧐It can feel like a lot to learn and get started, but we promise it's not too hard and we have lots of resources to help you along the way! Did you know we have a tagging website? Once your items are sorted, all you have to do is enter them into the program and voila the tags are generated for you!

Make extra tags for redeemables! When you are entering tags, we highly encourage you to make an extra page of 2 of tags for redeemables. These can be non-item specific, just select the category as redeemables, mark for $1 (or $0.50), half off and donate. Print on colored/pastel cardstock and cut. This way you will be able to sell any clothing items that are pulled during inspection. Having tags on hand at drop off makes it quick and easy!
