I have finally finished this project “Franken-bag” for lack of a better name. Truly, the coolest anything I’ve ever done in leather (in my opinion).

This bag took over 2 full weeks and a ton of hours, I lost track of how many.

Full grain leather, hand dyed, skull fabric lined. One outside zipper pocket on back, one full size pocket inside.

The skull on front is wet molded, and hand painted.

Nickel plated hardware, aluminum rivets, 2” wide adjustable strap.

Dimensions: 11” tall, 10” wide, 3” depth.

This truly rugged, cross body bag makes a statement. It will be a conversation starter.

A very special project ❤️.

I was recently hired to build a purse out of an old saddle.
The saddle had sentimental value to the customer and I think (I know) I pulled it off!

I really enjoyed this project; though a bit more challenging to work with than new leather. With a little care, this leather came back to life!

Most of all, my customer loves it!
