Nice breakfast nook and shelves I finished up a little while ago in Everything was built custom to fit the space exactly and provide my wonderful clients with a nice spot to gather the family, work from home, and store anything they need underneath. Trying out something new. My students have always known me as the guy with the silly woodworking shirts, but over the years I've always found it difficult to find ones that I liked. I decided to take matters into my own hands and design my own line of shirts. I'll be posting new designs over the next few days for the algorithm but they are all up on my website if you want to have silly woodworking shirts like me!

Absolutely in love with the grain on this dresser. I brought it home a few days ago (which was it's own challenge that included cutting a hole in my ceiling 🤣) and have been loving waking up to this piece. With the completion of this dresser I've now made every piece of furniture in my bedroom and it's a great feeling. Sometimes it can be hard to make time to build things for yourself but it's truly worth it.

More fun from the last few weeks. I enjoyed showing my students how to use a router to cut any size circle you want. Always a fun (and messy) process with great results.

Dare I say it's starting to actually look like a dresser? First time I've used undermount drawer slides and I'm not going back! Now on to the fronts.

These are far from perfect.. but they are also by far the most complex upholstery job I've ever done! There was definitely some head scratching and a little trial and error... But I'm happy that I was trusted to bring some new life in to these very old chairs.
