🚨 🩷Hey Friends.. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve said much on my cancer journey. If you follow me personally you’ve seen bits and pieces over the last year. Truth be told this journey is a bitch. There is no nicer way to put it. It took almost 3 years to get a doc to listen to my concerns and TEST THE TISSUE… what my gut was in denial about was right. Breast Cancer. This past fall I began my journey to new “foobs” after having a complete bilateral mastectomy of both breasts and tissue. It has been one of the toughest things I’ve ever been tough. The mental mind Fu*k is the worst. The body dysmorphia is strong but the mind set is trying to push it all away. I have had nothing about a text book run of reconstruction. Every “rare” thing that could happen, HAS happened.. from an emergency surgery in October to remove an expander due to dying skin to delaying “fills” to “to thin of skin” to nasty scars due to how I heal. It has all been thrown at me. While I have been in and out of the shop the past 7 months, I’ve been out of it more than in. Every time I *Think* I’ll be able to be open something else medical comes up. I’m still “T-Rex” restricted.. which makes is hard to do much at the shop since most is heavy lifting of car seats and strollers. So thank you to those that have come in to shop but have had to do the heavy lifting. I still very much need to liquidate my toys and gift category as moving forward id like to illuminate various brands and focus on what brings me joy. Last week I went under the knife again in what I hope to be one of my last surgeries for a hot minute. Hopefully I can now start to rebuild my upper body strength and get back to what I love. Thank you all for following along and sending words of encouragement it means a lot. Do me a favor and check your b***s, if you feel anything out of the norm don’t be afraid to ask questions until you get answers!

I can’t say enough good things about Doggie Details Pet Grooming in Richland! We’ve been taking our Maxx there for 5+ years and have always had a great experience! Maxx is now 10.5 (old for a Saint Bernard) and never have to worry about the care he is given! They recently started taking on new clients so if you need someone I suggest checking them out!

What a crazy few days. I appreciate the messages, comments and hugs. On Friday I participated in raising the flag for Breast Cancer Awareness at Kadlec Hospital and also participated in a few local news station interviews.

My journey hasn't been easy, but I'm thankful for Dr. Droesch and his team at Kadlec for getting me on track to being a survivor.

While I still have two maybe three surgeries remaining my working is limited. (I can't lift much and we all know car seats are heavy)
I am working to finish getting the store back together so I can open up and host a "liquidation" sale. While I will NOT be CLOSING.. I do have Carseats/Strollers/Wagons Toys and more I need to move to help cover costs. For some reason when I planted a money tree a few years back it didn't produce anything so back to work I go! haha

My goal is to be open the weekend of October 18th. So please tell your friends and mark your calendars! I have a HUGE selection of car seats, strollers, wagons, toys and more as well as a decent selection of gently loved strollers and designer clothing!

Don't Forget to CHECK YOUR B***S!!!
