When I opened Anna Serene I had only dreamt of what it would become. I named it after both of my great grandmothers, whom I was also named after. Anna Serene Lakin and Serena Fritcher. I have always felt a connection to them, and wanted to honor them both.

What did happen was far greater than anything I could have imagined. You came. You came and shared your life with me. Your happy occasions, your hard times, and everything in between. During the 2+ years I’ve been open I have met so many incredible women. My store became a place where we all shared our lives together.

It is with a lot of reflection, love, and gratitude that I have decided to close my doors. I am going to pursue other ventures and dreams. Including soaking up every minute with my youngest son.

My children, my family, my friends, whom are also my family, have supported me and loved me through this journey more then I could have ever asked for.
I love you all and appreciate Everything.

Ally and Elyse you two have been the most incredible friends that a girl could ask for. Thank you for supporting me and helping make Anna Serene what it is today.

Thank you mom for your unwavering support and love. I will miss spending time with you in the store. It has been incredible being with you and sharing this with you.

As I end this venture I don’t want this to be goodbye. I have made amazing life long friendships through this and want that to continue. I foresee a lot of coffee dates and shopping trips in the future!

Thank you all again from the bottom of my heart for all of the joy that you have brought to my life.
