Rifling through some old postcards, found a photo postcard of St Anthony’s Chapel, the “world’s smallest church” outside of Festina, IA. We drove by it several times when I was little. I think it’s between where my great grandfather’s farm was and Waukon, my mother and grandmother’s hometown.

Just now realizing that is only a couple miles north of where Doug grew up and there’s no way our paths did not cross when we were little.

Hello friends! Farmers market is cancelled today (June 4th) due to the coming storms, and we will be closed for the full day. We will be open tomorrow and Saturday from 12-5:30!
I want to thank everyone who has reached out to check on me! I believe I’ll be able to work a full day tomorrow and I hope to see you then! My youngest assistant is also working tomorrow and he can’t wait to help and eat ice cream at Paula’s!

After careful consideration, we are not going to be open today. We apologize for the inconvenience. The owner is recovering from surgery and has decided that she is not able to move well enough to return this week.
