Dreamcatchers have been used for centuries as a symbol of protection, good luck, healing, and spiritual guidance.

Mi'kmaw artist Kelsie Young () hand-crafts dreamcatchers, being inspired by nature. She smudges each piece at sunrise to cleanse and purify her crafts using the traditional sacred medicines of sweetgrass, to***co, cedar and sage.
