Happy Sunday!

What a gorgeous morning. I hit the trail for a hike with my BFF, Luca, and it was the perfect chance to take out the new Altra Olympus 275 HiLo.

With max cushion for days, a roomy toe box for my banged-up feet, and the Matrix upper, it was the perfect shoe for a perfect morning in the woods.

We’re open 10–3 today, so if you’ve been curious about the new Olympus 275 HiLo, swing by and try on a pair for yourself.

I have to admit… I’m starting to feel a little like George Costanza with all this hand modeling I’ve been doing lately.

But honestly, we’re in one of my favorite times of the year. It feels like a new shoe drops almost daily, and I genuinely love getting to show them off.

It’s a gorgeous day in Westminster!

We’ve got a few more days before the killer heat arrives, making today the perfect day to come downtown.

A quick heads-up: Main Street parking is closed today for tonight’s Italian Festival, but don’t worry, we’ve got plenty of public parking lots just a short walk from the shop.

We had a great run around town this morning, and I finally got my first miles in the ASICS Novablast 6. The Novablast 5 was an absolute monster and was the most-run shoe on Strava last year. I’m happy to report my maiden voyage in version 6 was a success. It’s soft, bouncy, and just plain fun to run in.

Happy Friday!

We are jazzed to finally have the new HOKA Clifton Pro in the shop.

If you’ve always liked the Clifton but wished it had just a little more pep, this might be your shoe. It has that familiar HOKA cushioning, but with a noticeably more energetic ride that makes it feel smoother, bouncier, and just plain more fun when you start rolling.

We have a feeling this one is going to make a lot of Clifton fans very happy.

Happy Sunday! Anybody else still without power after last night’s storms?

Our house is still without power (the third time in four years we’re going to throw away a refrigerator full of food), while thankfully Run Moore is open, cool, and fully powered today until 3 PM.

Storms happen, and we understand that. But the lack of any communication and customer service from BGE has been incredibly frustrating. As a small business owner, experiences like this remind me how important it is to communicate with customers and keep them informed.

We’re proud how many of our 200 five-star Google reviews mention not just our shoe fittings, but our customer service. It reminds me that while we can’t always control the outcome, we can always control how we treat people.

Just a quick Fourth of July reminder!

Run Moore will be closed tomorrow so our staff can enjoy the holiday with family and friends. Before the cookouts and fireworks, we'd love to see you for our 9:00 a.m. group run from the shop! Come dressed in your best red, white, and blue and kick off the holiday with a few sweaty miles and good company. A terrific way to start your holiday.

Happy July!

Not sure if you've been outside lately, but it's rather warm.

I read somewhere the best way to treat extreme heat is with a cool new pair of running shoes. Seems legit.

This Saturday is our last trail run of the month!

The next session of Dave Griffin's Flying Feet Running Program begins June 29!

Whether you're training for your first 5K, chasing a half marathon or marathon goal, or simply looking for some structure and consistency in your running, Dave's program provides individualized training plans, coached workouts, and a supportive group environment to help you get there.
