Happy Sunday! For some of you…it’s the last day before school starts.

If you’re in need of back to school shoes, we’re open from 10 to 3 today. Stop on by and start the school year off with the freshest of kicks.

Speaking of fresh kicks, today I took the new On Cloudrunner Max 3 out for the first time. Big fan. Sort of a weird word to describe a pair of shoes, but they were so cozy. The cushion, the way they hugged my arch. It just felt cozy. A really nice Sunday morning shoe. Not to mention, they’re stunning.

Also, stop on by and say hello to Ryan, who is at Crunch Fitness for their End of Summer Bash. He’ll be there with some giveaways and high fives for all. Make sure to say hello!

I know some of you are old enough to remember the tremendous Staples “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” commercial.

Well, for a lot of kids, this is the last full week of summer.

We’re open today from 10–3 to help knock shoes off the ol’ school supply list.

A few of the hot cross country trainers this summer have been the Brooks Ghost Amp, ASICS NOVABLAST 6 and HOKA Clifton Pro.

The brand new HOKA Tecton X 4 is here.

With parallel carbon plates, two layers of PEBA foam, and a premium Matryx upper, this thing is built to move fast over technical terrain. Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday and throughout our entire Anniversary Week!

This year, we wanted to make the week more about running than Run Moore, and I really feel like we accomplished that. I got multiple messages this week along the lines of, “Saw a big group of runners and figured that was one of your runs.” That’s always a pretty good sign of a successful stretch in the community.

We had a blast yesterday and are incredibly thankful to everyone who came out to run, hang around, grab an Anniversary shirt, shop and celebrate with us.

If you missed yesterday’s hoopla, we’re open today from 10am–3pm! Our Anniversary Sale continues today both in store and online, so it’s a great time to get ready for back-to-school and fall racing season.

And again, thank you.

It’s not lost on me how amazing it is to say that Run Moore has now been in business for 12 years. I’m incredibly grateful and appreciative of all the support, friendships and miles we’ve logged with this community along the way.

Happy Saturday!

We had an awesome turnout for our Anniversary Group Run this morning!

This year, we really wanted to put an emphasis on what matters most to us: running with our community. We made a focused effort to host multiple events throughout Anniversary Week and get out into the community as much as we could. After this morning, I feel really good that we achieved that goal.

Now, let’s celebrate 12 years!

Our Anniversary Extravaganza rolls on!

So far this week we’ve had a buzzing Spike Night, a great group run at Wakefield Valley, and a big pub run with Adidas last night!

Tomorrow the show goes on with our big Anniversary Run at 8:30am!

We’ve got some sweet Anniversary Shirts from Adidas that we’re ready to give out, live screen printing, great deals throughout the store, and plenty more going on.

The run starts promptly at 8:30am. If you join us for the run, you’ll get early access to the Anniversary Sale as soon as we return. The store officially opens to everyone at 10am.

I was unable to make the pub run because I was at the Carroll Biz Challenge. We’re a proud sponsor of the event, and as a previous winner back in 2014, I was asked to present one of this year’s finalists.

I love being involved with the Biz Challenge, and the event holds a special place in Run Moore folklore. Congratulations to all of this year’s finalists and to the grand prize winner, Little Locals Town and Gym!

Twelve years of Run Moore feels like a pretty good reason to get together for a few miles.

We’ve got three group runs this week, and we’d love to see you at one - or better yet, TWO:

- Wednesday: Wakefield Valley at 6pm
- Thursday: Monthly Pub Run at 6pm
- Saturday: Anniversary Group Run at 8:30am

Even after all these years, I still get wistful looking at a pair of cross country spikes.

I say this every year, but seeing these kids come in for trainers and spikes for the upcoming season…the best. Soak it in, kids. Racing does not get much better than XC.

Tomorrow night is our annual Spike Night! The shop will be open from 6–8pm and we’ll have a sale on trainers, spikes and anything else you need for the upcoming season. Stop on by, grab a slice of pizza and get ready to race.

Also, today is the first day of Tax Free Shopping, which runs through Saturday! This covers shoes under $100 and apparel.

Twelve years.

That's a lot of shoes fitted, races celebrated, goals reached, and conversations around the shoe wall.

What started as a running store has become a community, and that's because of all of you.

To say thank you, we're celebrating all week long with group runs, Spike Night, our monthly Pub Run, Maryland Tax-Free Week, and our 12th Anniversary Sale. Whether you've been with us since 2014 or you just found the shop this year, we'd love to see you.
