Just wanted to do a little shout out to
“The Krogh’s Nest Antiques” Shop in Taneytown, MD. Open most Saturdays from 9-5. It’s located at 205 E. Baltimore St.
The owner, Hans has created an antique shop inside the old train ticket depot, which he and his wife purchased and moved many years ago, saving the building. The building alone is worth a peek with the original interior, ticket window and wood.
He sells antiques and vintage items as well as hand made bags he makes from vintage Turkish rugs. There is a small amount of jewelry and clothes as well.
Hans used to have an upholstery business and still shows off his skills in his refurbished furniture and bags. Below are a few pictures I took of the shop and his workroom. Check it out sometime! For folks in Frederick, Hans also has a spot at the Emporium Antiques shop at 112 E. Patrick St.
