I don’t tool leather very often, even though it’s been a big goal of mine to get better at it. I’ll admit, I feel imposter syndrome when it comes to that type of leather work just because I feel way more confident with using my laser engraver. But with this halter, I finally jumped out of my comfort zone to make some progress towards my goal. Needless to say
I was so happy that wanted to take photos of this halter!
These aren’t just gorgeous photos of a halter they’re photos of something that I’m incredibly proud of and have been dreaming of doing for the last five years since I’ve started my business.
Things have slowed down around here since having my second baby, but I’m still excited to keep working towards making Lone Luna a household name in the horse community! 🌙

Sneak peek of my first halter drop since June!

Mauve won the vote for the limited edition halter color but as you can tell, it came out a little darker and more grey than I was expecting. I didn’t want to waste this pretty color though so it’ll be included in the drop and mauve halters will come later this month!

This drop will have three flat nose halters, 2 lariat halters, and 2 hybrid. Still haven’t decided a date yet but will be early to mid next week!

Lots of new things happening around here!

Custom orders reopen TOMORROW!

I’m so excited to get back into making orders and it sounds like y’all are too! I already have a list of customers that are ready to order and I’ll have limited stock available so don’t hesitate to put in that order that you’ve been wanting to 😉

There’s some new updates, like I said limited stock will be available, once’s those are full, I won’t be restocking until the next week. So in other words, if you want to order for a birthday, a new horse arrival, holidays, etc. make sure you’re ordering plenty of time in advance!

I’ve also rearranged my listings a little bit, a majority of my custom products are still available but condensed into one listing so make sure to click on listings to see all the options. I did remove some that weren’t ordered very often just to help me stay more organized and focused on the popular products.

I also have hardware upgrades on custom halters easily available to add onto your order! These have always been available but I didn’t know how to list them and I finally figured it out! So you can now add a lead rope snap, upgrade to a 10ft lead rope, and a cheek snap or no tie hardware.

I braided for the first time in over a month today. It took me almost all day to finish only a lead rope but with a sick toddler and a 3 week old, I’m going to call it an an accomplishment 😉

With that being said, I’m going to take things pretty slow as I come back into work. Customs will still open on August 1st but they will be VERY limited. I’ll mostly be focusing on my ready to ship drops so that I can control my schedule better and help get your orders out within a reasonable time. If you do have something specific you want to see me make, please don’t hesitate to reach out!! It really helps me out with knowing what to add in the drops.

I do have lots of new stuff coming your way so keep an eye out for my posts and stories for updates!

I need your opinion!

I always see colors that I think would look gorgeous as a mule tape halter color but it’s hard to know if you guys will like it too. So we are going to start a new thing around here for my monthly drops and I’ll need y’all’s help to do this!

Here’s what’s new, halter drops will now be once a month, most likely the end of the month, and on top of the usual items (flat nose band, lariat nose band, and hybrid halters) I will also have a set of halters in a LIMITED EDITION color that’s voted on by my followers every month!

If the halters sell out quickly then that color will be added to my color list for custom halters! If they sit then I’ll assume it wasn’t a favorite and it will stay as a limited edition color.

So here’s the color options for the next drop! Comment below which is your favorite and let me know if there’s a color you want me to add in for next month’s vote! I’ll also add my color list in so you can see what I currently offer ❤️
