I just wanted to say a little mid-year THANK YOU to Cary & Julie for everything they do around here ✨

I get on here and tell you about Cactus Creek & my perspective of owning a shop in Weston - but if you come to see us these two are who you’ll likely meet first.

A few weeks ago Julie posted this on her personal FB: “….moments like this are one of the reasons I love my job. Meeting people from all over, sharing a laugh with complete strangers, and collecting little stories like this makes every day an adventure.”

I am so grateful to these girls for the love they show to everyone who walks in the door. The adventure never ends ❤️

I love this necklace but I didn’t think I needed it until about 5 minutes ago when I was showing you how I’d wear it… and now I love it & I’m keeping it forever.

I have always loved these baskets, usually they are made from grasses & come from Africa. By the time they land in someone’s second hand pile they have become wonky with time & an unbalanced load.

In Arizona last winter I went to an African market and saw them being soaked in buckets of water and then re-shaped.

After finding a couple this week I decided to give it a whirl (literally).

It was super easy & they turned out great

So many poor discarded baskets that could have been brought back to life. Never again on my watch 😉
