Snails & Pigtails Handcrafted items for boys and girls My vavo (Portuguese for grandmother) taught me how to crochet when I was a kid.

Then life happened and It had been years since I picked up yarn and a hook. Shortly after the birth of my second child I needed a creative outlet to channel some emotions I was going through. From there I picked up a skein of yarn and hook and never looked back. I love to create beautiful things with string and a stick, kind of amazing right?! Currently my favorite items to make are hats and scarv
