Meet Kennedi 💙

In June, Kennedi came into our Lisle store to get fitted for shoes. While there, Kennedi shared some of her goals, and how she was gearing up to compete in the AAU Junior Olympics. Assistant Manager, Rob, shared a few tips and encouragement for her upcoming competition.

🏅At just 12 years old, Kennedi won a Gold medal in the 400m dash at the AAU Junior Olympics, running an incredible 56.77 from lane 8!

The day after taking home the gold hardware, Kennedi’s mom called our Lisle store to share the exciting news. We were thrilled! Kennedi and her mom ended up coming back to the store, gold medal in hand, to celebrate and take a picture with Rob, which truly made everyone's day ☀

At Dick Pond Athletics, we love helping athletes find the right gear, but it’s the relationships we build along the way that make what we do so special.

Congratulations, Kennedi! We’re so proud to have you and your family as part of the Dick Pond community, and we can’t wait to see what you accomplish next 💙
