At Nu- Way Cleaners & Tailors, we believe everyone deserves to shine on their special night. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Operation Prom, a nonprofit that provides free prom gowns and tuxedos to students who might not otherwise be able to afford them.

We’re honored to serve as an official drop-off location for gently used formalwear. Drop off your dresses, suits, or tuxedos at our store, and we’ll clean and press them FREE of charge before they’re passed along to a student in need.

Recently, Nu-Way was extremely to be chosen to restore a historic nurse’s uniform from 1918! The amazing and heroic story behind the uniform made this project extremely special. The uniform belonged to Edna Odell, great granddaughter of Colonel John Odell, who was one of George Washington’s guides during the American Revolution. Edna comes from a long line of heroes. Her father also served in the Civil War, her brother in the Spanish American War and her adopted son in World War II. At the age of 43, she volunteered to serve as an American Red Cross nurse in France where she selflessly wore this uniform for years.

Like many of you reading the news and email updates, there is a lot of uncertainty about what is to come as a result of the virus and how to properly acclimate our lives during this current state. As cleaners, we are doing the best we can to protect our customers, employees and family therefore we can only present you with the facts from our experience speaking with cleaning industry experts and our state of the art cleaning machinery/solutions (Green Earth Cleaner). We have temporarily modified the temperatures at which we dry and steam our clothes (to a point that does not affect the clothing quality) to ensure we are actively reducing any risk of transmitting the virus in our facility. As stated by the CDC, we are considered an essential business and remain open on normal operating hours. We are offering FREE pick up & delivery for LAUNDERING and DRY CLEANING services (includes any Spring cleaning items like household items: comforters, quilts, drapes, rugs, etc.).
