We're gearing up for the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival this weekend and hope you are too! Take a peek behind the scenes with Peggy at the making of our special colorway for this festival, Maryland Blue Crab!

We'll have limited quantities of this sport-weight variegated yarn available at our booth on both Saturday and Sunday of the festival. Plus, we'll be launching some skeins online the following Tuesday (May 5) for those who couldn't make it to the festival.

It's almost time for Maryland Sheep and Wool, and you know what that means! We're spinning up a batch of our beloved Maryland Blue Crab colorway, this year in sport-weight!

We had a blast welcoming Ben Ogden to Junction Fiber Mill last Friday for a special Millcast interview and a tour showing how we turn fiber into yarn!

For those of you who don't know Ben, he is a two-time Olympic silver medalist in Cross Country Skiing from Landgrove, Vermont. When he's not on the slopes, you can find Ben posted up with a pair of DPNs, enjoying one of his favorite hobbies - knitting!

And the winner is... 🩷 ❤️

A few weeks ago, we launched a survey asking which one of our limited edition colorways we should bring back. You voted, and the winner was Very Cherry, our marled pink-and-red yarn!

We're getting started on a new batch of Very Cherry now, and it will relaunch in mid-May in both DK and sport weights. Stay tuned for a behind-the-scenes look at the making of this yarn.

Many of you wanted to see the pin drafter in action - here's a look at our new Ramella pin drafter as it's blending our Roots: Charcoal colorway. Believe it or not, our solid yarns start as far-from-solid roving that get blended together into the perfect solid color through the pin-drafting process!
