To our dear friends,
After 11 incredible years, yesterday marked our last day of business.
From the very beginning, Yellow Wood was never just about selling gear. It became a place to gather, swap stories, plan adventures, and discover something new. What made it special wasn’t what was on our shelves, it was the people who walked through our doors.
You built this community.
Over the years, you trusted us to outfit your travels near and far. You shared photos from trailheads, summits, and quiet moments you’ll cherish for many years to come. Your kids and their friends stopped in after school - and sometimes just to hang in the hammocks. You came to catch up, to tell us about your latest adventure, and to prepare for the next one. We’ve never taken that for granted.
We are deeply proud of what this small shop became, of the team who brought it to life each day, of the relationships formed, and of the impact we were able to have together in our community.
Thank you for 11 years of community, curiosity, and adventure. It has meant more to us than we can fully express.
