Beaver Dam WI is home to a beautiful and diverse population of artists! We have an amazingly rich community of visual and performing artists. Somewhat new to the area, but quickly endeared to the community, is visual artist, Stephen Bennet. His fanciful portraits capture his subject's life force on larger-than-life canvases in a riot of colors that all somehow seem to work. He has already installed seven murals around town, six of which feature local legends and heroes, painted by community members to create a rich tapestry of inter-generational pride in our city.
