One year ago, the BBB recognized DIRE DESIGN HAUS with a Spark Award for Entrepreneurship.

As a self-funded team of two, that recognition meant a lot. Not because we had "made it," but because someone saw potential in what we were trying to build.

Fast forward a year later.

Our Wolfepack has grown. We've planted 200 more trees. We've removed thousands of bottles worth of plastic from waterways. And we've watched the DRIKON™ Backpack travel farther than we ever imagined, from rivers and lakes to trails, ski hills, and everyday adventures.

While the backpack may be the only product available today, it represents something much bigger: a commitment to building durable gear, protecting wild places, and creating a community of people who care about both.

To everyone who has supported us, shared our story, stopped by our booth, tested our gear, or trusted us with your adventures, thank you. You're the reason we get to keep chasing this dream.

We're proud of how far we've come.

And we're even more excited about where we're headed.

Now THIS is Montana culture. 😎🤘🍾

isn’t just a competition… it’s a full-blown community eruption!

Champagne showers. Shoe beers. Sunburns. River legends. First-timers becoming hometown heroes. One entire community rallying behind the paddlers crazy enough to send it through the Wild Mile.

Watching the town rally behind these athletes was absolutely unreal. Huge respect to every contestant who threw down, every volunteer who made the event possible, and every sponsor helping fuel one of the most iconic weekends in Northwest Montana.

At DIRE, this is exactly why we do what we do. Protect wild places. Support real communities. Build gear for the people actually out there living it... because the best moments in life still happen OFFLINE.🤙

Massive love to BFWWF + who continue to remind us what happens when people rally around passion, adventure, and each other.

𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢 𝗗𝗨𝗠𝗣 𝗜𝗦 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘: Tag your friends if you spot them 👀⬇️

Might’ve been DIRE’s first year at BFWWF, but it sure as hell won’t be our last. Between the whitewater, live music, local vendors, and nonstop energy from this community… this weekend reminded us that the best part of Montana has always been the people.

Together we planted 𝟮𝟬𝟬 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀 & 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝟱𝟬𝟬+ 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 from waterways and ecosystems! ♻️

Proof that when community shows up together, the ripple effect can be HUGE!!

Massive respect to the entire crew behind Bigfork Whitewater Festival & for throwing one of the most electric events in the valley. Shoutout to every vendor keeping the stoke alive, Flathead Search & Rescue for keeping everyone safe out there, and every single attendee who stopped by the booth, shared a story, entered giveaways, or just vibed with us. You made this an unforgettable experience. 🖤🐺
